KW suspensions complete suspension systems are composed of high quality lowering springs and specially designed sports shock absorbers, which have a shorter stroke and are valved to suit the new conditions. Hours of road tests and fine-tuning by our engineers achieve optimum coordination of the damper/spring unit making significant improvements in handling and performance.

KW suspensions - lowering springs

KW suspensions' lowering springs are designed to reduce vehicle height by up to 60 mm. Along with the visual improvement, the lowered center of gravity provides added agility and driving enjoyment to your vehicle. Lowering springs up to 40 mm can be used with standard production shock absorbers. We recommend the use of sport dampers with any lowering, but it is mandatory for lowering over 40 mm.

KW suspensions - sports shock absorbers

KW suspensions sports shock absorbers are produced in cooperation with AL-KO, a high volume OEM manufacturer of shock absorbers, and exceed all the standards of a modern high-performance damper system. All KW sports dampers are developed and adjusted specially for each vehicle. KW engineers use their extensive knowledge of vehicle development and motorsport to find the perfect balance during hours and hours of road tests.

The twin-tube low-pressure gas dampers are equipped with hardened and chromium-plated piston rods, a feature that offers ideal stone-chip and anti-corrosion protection. A new, innovative mono-block guide and seal package increases pressure resistance, reduces friction, therefore promoting efficiency. The new shrink-fit V-shaped Teflon seal on the shock piston reduces the friction losses to a minimum and guarantee an extremely temperature-resistant and durable damping system. All KW sports dampers are designed with a shortened rebound travel that guarantees optimum stroke-bore ratios and ensure pre-stressed springs.
Many of our applications feature REAR AXLE dampers that are equipped with multi position spring perches, making it possible to vary the height of the rear of the vehicle for leveling or aesthetic purposes.
