SPORT SHOCK ABSORBERS
OMP presents a line of hydraulic shock-absorbers, adjustable and with double effect, having special adaptive valves with progressive working for low frequences and regressive for high ones. Adjustment of the shock-absorber is carried out through rotation of the stem till end of stroke. Possible calibrations attainable in a continuous way can be divided in three different stiffening levels:
Standard
adjustment allows stiffening of the trim corresponding to an increase of 15%
in comparison to the orginal shock-absorber enabling the original spring to
work at its best by maintaining a high driving comfort.
Level
1 adjustment 35% stiffer than originally, allows the use both of the original
spring and of a lowered one thus enabling an excellently calibrated trim.
Level
2 adjustment 50% stiffer than originally, is useful both in case of reduced
efficacy of damping power (owing to a severe and prolonged use) or preferably
with lowered springs.
Thanks to the experience developed with our adjustable shock-absorbers, OMP
presents a range of sports shock-absorbers, with shortened stem (up to 20
mm according to the car model), specifical for the use with standard lowered
springs or with those allowing an even increased lowering. The short stem
allows a reduced range of the suspensions thus reaching the “extreme”
trim typical of today’s tuning.
REINFORCED BRAKE HOSE
In the original braking system the foot pressure on the brake pedal does not always correspond to the power transmitted to the calipers owing to the possible dilatation of the hoses which may slow down the brake fluid flow. OMP teflon hoses, with a stainless steel loop, are able to efficaciously prevent such problems.
STRUT BRACES
OMP is the leading manufacturer in Europe of these accessories. Strut braces allow to maintain the geometry of the front suspensions unalterated. They are also essential for increasing road-holding, reducing tyre wear and are able to assure improved shock-absorption especially when using larger tyres. The benefit you can gain also for normal road use with sports, diesel or runabout cars is more than obvious.

OMP offer a wide range of harnesses for all requirements homologated according to the latest FIA and ECE rules. These harnesses can be chosen according to the number of fixing points, strap width or colour, from 2” up to the new type with a 4” max - width.
